I don't know if they did Awd rb25's, they were in most gts-t's, but believe in the r34, they started using the rb26 neo for rwd applications. Even 1989 R32's came with the rb26dett.
Looks like a fun project, how is driving a car with 2 more cylinders hanging off the front? I've always heard rb swaps make steering a little goofy, if the motor is not as far back in the car as possible. I'll be looking for an s13 coupe over this winter myself
