New member,300zx and 95 gsx :)

Whats up everyone,my names Matt. I've been lurking for a bit while I was shopping around for a DSM and since then have found one so an intro is due. I have had 5 cars and this is my first DSM so its a learning curve. Also included is my 1992 300zx na.

First is the 95GSX I just picked up. The car was originally a GST,it has been converted to AWD,and the 98 body as well. I've been told the car has been around and alot of people know it.

Some Mode include: Rebuilt 2.0(7 Bolt) with eagle crank/rods and weiseco 8.3:1 comp, GT35R turbo,Punishment Racing manifold with 3" o2 housing and 3inch exhaust.

Next is a 92 Nissan 300zx NA. I've had this car for a long time, and its one of the few clean, good running Zs around.

Some Mods include: Injen intake,Iridium Plugs,Stillen Headers with highflow cats and Greddy SP2 exhaust.

Thanks for checking out my intro and Comments/Flame are welcome.

Yes it is,he came down a lil from 10k though. The car put that down at Db performance.

Did you have this car at Brainard last year for the MAP event? I know it was there but it could of been previous owner. I think it was running 11's. Anywho welcome and nice setup.

Thank you. It seems mitsustlye is a smaller, more tightly knit community and im happy to be here. It was the previous owner that had the car at Bir and I think his best was 11.22 or 11.33 before breaking the center diff on the second day of the event.

Welcome to the forum! You're right in saying that this forum isn't like t00ners or those other national forums. A lot of great people and resources on here. Use them to your advantage!

Yeah, thats redline's old car. It's nice. It's done up pretty good. Nice buy. Yes it was up at BIR for proving grounds.

11.33 is the best if I recall. Brandon was the previous owner and he's a good guy. Cars well built and supporting the 2g 7bolt!

Re: New member,300zx and 95 gsx :)

Awsome, thanks everyone for your feedback and information. I looked around for a 2g for awhile and they really are becoming more rare everyday. I had a little bit of "new car paranoia" but through the research I have done and what I have been reading here, thats gone now. I havent found anyone with a bad word on the car,and all the work checks out. Brandon(redline) was the previous owner and I agree,he is a good guy and was nothing but honest, cool, and helpful. Im actually starting to feel lucky I was able to get this 2g with everything said today.

Re: New member,300zx and 95 gsx :)

Only thing to say thats not all positive about the car is that the exhaust is rotting out on the muffler and has an exhaust leak from the last time I saw it..

O and that car will run faster then 11.33 with some smaller rims and better tires..

Yeah, the exhaust has seen better days to say the least lol Changing it will be one of the first of a few things I have planned for the car but ill leave all that fun stuff for a good project thread.

Welcome! I've always loved Z32's. Too bad yours isn't turbo, it's really clean!

Welcome! You'll have to come out to our spring cruise and especially our spring dyno day! Nice looking car, have some fun with it and take care of it so it lasts a long time.
