Considering that the motor is hanging from an engine hoist and the car is on jack stands as opposed to a lift, I think it is safe to assume it was lifted out of the car.

Motorcycle cop pulls up next to me on UNI and says "Want to race?"
Me- "I don't think you would stand a chance."
Cop says "probably not" and drives off.

Re: Evo went under the knife

If you've got a lift, out the bottom would be easy. If not, it would be pretty difficult.

Re: Evo went under the knife

I did it without a lift twice and still dropped it out the bottom, once without a engine lift even. I didnt have the head on once.

Re: Evo went under the knife

Well I started to clean up the engine bay

and then I found this. I was llike WTF this is why you never drill a hole in the firewall with looking first.

The motor and tran coming apart

and then the main bearing.

That's crazy that someone drilled through the wiring harness like that. Make sure you inspect all those wires!

Re: Evo went under the knife

up date
Took the motor and tran apart tonight. The in side of the tran was very dirty.

Looks like there are little crack in the pressure plate

Then I saw this some one welded on the pressure plate

Clutch look like it was starting to go bad and I plan on getting a ACT HD STREET 6 CLUTCH it's good for 508 ft/lbs

at lest the fly wheel look ok but I plan on getting a FIDANZA fly wheel
