??? on main bearings

Can you put in new main bearings in a evo 4g63 with the motor still in the car like you can in the DSM 4g63 motor's.

You could, just pull down the main girdle and slide them in.

Based on the question this is not a major factor in the build process. In short there is NO way you could check clearance installing bearings this way. The biggest question is why you would replace main bearings with out knowing what went wrong before replacing them, and or knowing what the major specs are and if they are ok.

I was just asking if it can be done that's all. I heard that you can do it on DSM that's why I ask if it can be done on the evo 4g63.
