7 bolt girdle

so i was working on a bunch of dsm stuff today, and was looking over a couple engine blocks, and i got to thinking. is it possible to machine the 7 bolt girdle into a 6 bolt block?

Maybe? But why would you want to? As far as I know, there doesn't seem to be a need.. Seems like a waste of time/effort/money for something that doesn't seem to have an issue in the first place.

Why not just buy a girdle for a 6 bolt block? They don't cost that much...

I think that kiggley girdle is kinda weak sauce compared to a stock 7 bolt girdle.
