AWD carnage...

So who's seen this break before? guess I never heard of this part breaking, but when you push it anything goes I guess.

Is that the front pinion gear? If so, I haven't heard of that breaking before either.

Yeah, I guess you could call that the front pinion shaft, that is the front pinion gear just out of the pic at the bottom. Wierd part was I didn't even lauch it, I had just put E85 in it and rolled on 1st gear.

I have seen that when something else locks up or is binding causing the harden shaft to twist which it can't it shatters instead.

LOL, I'm a cheap bast, I bought a pinion shaft from TKR that I'm going to throw in there. If it breaks again then I know its the welded diff.

Yeah, It's not like I'm making crazy power either... Just a 50 trim and alot of boost...
