Haha. Good read. The story of "The White Death" was pretty amazing because I think the History channel was talking about the guy. Interesting read.

Impressive as those are, nothing really compares to the accomplishments of some of Germany's soldiers during WWII. Some of those guys fought for 4 to 5 years compared to the 1 or 2 years of combat most brits and americans saw. Some of the stories about guys on the eastern front are just mind boggling because of the huge numerical advantage the soviets had. You just don't hear about them because they lost, and of course we can't give them their due because they fought for the Nazi's.
They should write one called "5 German Soldiers Who Make Audie Murphy Look Like a Pussy"
