Progress since last year
I put the car on the dyno last fall up at MAP. It did pretty good for 20psi. Hoping to run around 35psi in a few weeks. Then I will head back to the rollers. Fuel (E85) is limiting me to 20psi (need another fuel pump).

Re: Progress since last year
I was most likely going to throw another wally in it. I would rather not listen to a big external pump all the time while I drive. I can't even hear the current 255 in there. I also considered the bocsh 044 pump as well. What pump's do you have?

Re: Progress since last year
twin 310s unneeded. swifty just has them so he can talk shit, like he is gonna break 800 or even touch 1000whp the 310s are capable of.
About time kevin, can't wait.

Re: Progress since last year
talk shit on having fuel pumps? Sorry, I don't like running out of fuel. Most run out of pump before they even run out of injector. capable on what gas? saying these 310's are not needed, is like saying those twin aero 1k's are not needed on the FDSM...geez.

Trying to put a race car together but being a hack? Sorry but my cars run and I don't remember you ever having to worry about fuel esp. at 500whp hell you would barely outrun 1 310 at 500whp and thats if you did it at DB.

Now childeren settle down. lol! I'm still open to ideas on fuel pumps. I considered the new fuel lab brushless pumps but idk if I want to do a external pump

Re: Progress since last year
I'd go with an oem pump, like the bosche or one of the ford choices.

Re: Progress since last year
I run a bosch -044 and it isn't all that noisy for an external. You can hear it when you turn the car on before it is started, but while running you can't hear too much and I have zero sound deadening back there right now and even a few holes where I ripped the bracing out from back there in prep for the cage and the basketball sized hole for fuel cell access.
