I originally bought the red viper to replace the black one as a car to beat on, the black one was too nice. Before trying to sell the black one, one of my buddies asked to trade. We swapped cars for the weekend to see if it is what we wanted to do and it is a done deal.

Now I have to sell the Red car I just drove back from TX. Not a big deal, probably have a nicer looking car now anyhow.

In the background of the 2nd pic you can see a dirty pic of the RT I traded. He took these before I left his house.

Well initially I bought the black one to be a nice looking car that had a little power. I bought it with the thought that it was fast enough stock and I wouldn't have to mess with it. After taking James' (slowbubblecar) car to the road course, I wanted a car I could take to the track, beat on a bit an not care.

Seeing as the black car only had 7k miles on it when I bought it and was black (scratches) it wasn't a good choice to beat on at the track. Thus came the red car. Had a little work done to it, a hard top, and higher miles (for a viper). I wouldn't mind as much if I blew that motor up with a large shot of nitrous. I only can afford one car so my plan was to sell the black one. While talking to a buddy, it came up that he was interested in trading so it happened.

Let me know. Finnially got the issues taken care of on the red car and it will be time to go.

As far as looks go, I liked Blue, Red, then Black. Black was probably the nicest as it wasn't driven much. I was the 2nd owner of that car, no accidents, prior company owned car. People have been asking why he traded.

Reason being was that he isn't into fast cars, he is more into cruising. He drove my car prior and it was alot more comfortable. Hell, I drove it 18 hours straight back on my own from San Antonio without comfort issues. The GTSs are set up a bit different and his foot would get tired after 1.5 or 2 hours of driving.

Win/Win for the both of us.

Reason it has new paint is that he is pretty meticulous with his cars. The car was rear-ended recently and the prior owner had some scratches, chips in the fiberglass, etc. He had it repainted. This is the stock color.

^^^ I suppose. This is the 3rd one I have owned in a year and my brother also has one. We go out with the viper club quite a bit. What kinda sucks about owning one is that most people have enought money where they have mechanics do the work for them. Hard to get a good tech answer from anyone. That is what is great about a site like this. People know what is going on and are more than willing to help.
