Looking for a helping hand / Head Gasket

I am looking for someone or someones (plural) that would be willing to give me a hand/garage/tools with doing my head gasket on my 420a Eclipse. Last year, my compression test (thanks again andrew!) was showing signs that my HG was on its way out, and I believe i have finally reached that point.

She is pushing coolant, the overflow "boils" after shutdown, oil in the overflow, all the great signs. I am willing to drive wherever to get the help, well, within reason. I just need to get her fixed and my knowledge and tools cannot do the job unfortunately. I will obviously purchase all that is needed as far as necessary parts, etc. I dont want to screw it up myself, or worse, pay out the ass and go to get it done at a shop or whatever. I know many of you have your own projects going on, but it would mean alot!

Monetary compensation, as well as beer, bread, milk, company, etc. for anyone who helps! I know you guys wont let me down, so help a brother out! I would really like to have this done soon!

If you still don't have it done by early June I'd be able to help out. Bump this in a month if that's the case.

Re: Looking for a helping hand / Head Gasket

I've done a HG on a 420a before and my dad helped me, the garage i'm in is big enough but we don't know what happened to most of our tools. We could possibly get this done in a day or 2 which is perfect but i live in rogers.

I have tools and would be willing to help you but I don't have a place to do it. so if you can find someone with a garage big enough to do it I'd be willing to help you out

Re: Looking for a helping hand / Head Gasket

I have swaped a gs hardtop to a 6bolt 4g63 it is not that hard as everyone says you just need to cut out the engine mounts out of a 2g turbo car and weld them in.

You can put in a evo 4-8 engine in the car with a 3g 2.4 tranny also
