Some of you may have seen these and this very well may be a re-post, but I my dad just sent me an email today with these pictures and I thought it was pretty neat.

Not really sure about the concept and how it would and ride compared to other tires but sure makes you take a step back and be like "weird, but cool".

The tweel is interesting, not sure why they didn't succeed, probably because of the look. They were developed a few years ago now.

Those are pretty sweet, and a decent concept.

id imagine when the rubber gets a few years old they will tend to have crappy drivability. idk, maybe not

Probably not. Look at the "sidewall" flex in the pic of the Audi cornering.

but, just like regular tires, im sure they can make the side-wall (or whatever the hell you would call it) stiffer as well.

I wonder how good they would be for a launch? You could get the tire to squash down to give you better traction but then once your up to speed you wouldn't suffer the drag that an soft or under inflated tire would have. Who knows, they are weird as hell though.
