I have had thee Worst day ever. Started out this morning I wake up to a SHITTY little note from the wife to return her fucking stupid movie to Red Box thats 3 days late "yeah like its my fault" I didnt even watch the gay movie nor did I rent it, get dressed nice and somewhat warm for the cold day we were having walk outside go and start my pickem up truck which is a 99.5 Ford F-350 diesel with a 8'6 MVP V-plow and I let her warm up.
I thought to myself, Hey!!! lets go start the GST, while I'm at it a let her run alittle she hasnt run in a week or so.
I go over to the garage and start her up a little cranking but she started.
I walk over to my truck again and notice it running like shit somewhat but really didnt think to much of it cause I was low on fuel.
I hop in and drive over to the garage and notice a puddle of coolant on the ground comming from the overflow along with the alternater belt as well, I was like sweet, run in and hop in the car to see what the temp. gauge read, wasnt hight so I just shut her off, I really didnt have time to fuck with it cause I had some more plowing to do.
Well as I'm closing up my garage my truck just up and died on me, thinking what the hell I start her up again no problem and run to Holiday to fill her up for the days festivites.
As Im driving to the first account I come across an ice heave in the middle of the road, but it was an asphalt heave, going only 20mph it hit hard my plow jumps up and goes down with so much force it breaks my passanger side plow light, well turning around and heading to Maple Grove to go to Smith Winter Products I get new light and of course I had to but 2 cause they dont just sell one that was $165.00 well spent and 2hrs. of FREEZING MY ASS OFF I get them installed and I'm on my way to the account.
Well I was in their plowing I had to push the pile back cause we are expected to get more "white gold" I ended up getting hung up on a pile and STUCK, soo I call my dad and he had to come and pull me out and doing so I ended up ripping my center puck out on the plow.
So back to Smith Winter Products I spend another $125.00 for the center puck assembly and another 2.5hrs. FREEZING MY ASS OFF.
I go back to the account to finish up and on the last run mid push my truck dies on me yet again start her back up no problem push to the pile sweet I'm done, or so I thought go to raise the plow and it wont go up, I get out of the truck slamming the door kind've laughing/ screaming WHAT THE FUCK I see right away I had broke the main chain for the blade to go up and down.
So I had to call my dad YET AGAIN and he ran and picked me up a chain and brought it to me spending yet another $80.00 and 1.5hrs of FREEZING MY ASS OFF.
Getting her fixed up I'm at the point of boiling I mean I'm just fucking pissed having spent the better part of $400.00 I'm like fuck it I'm going home.
Driving down the road I come to a stop light where once again my truck dies, thinking what else is new I go to start her up again but this time it wont start its just cranking over thats all, this just sends me up a wall now and now ready to murder somebody.
I had to call a tow truck I get one out their and the ass hat driver starts being a DICK saying he cant tow me I have a plow on, I'm like YEAH SO FUCKING WHAT, and he's well you didnt tell us you had a plow, I said you dipshits never asked, well you should have told us, well sorry for inconvincing you as I'm in the middle of the fucking road.
So having to call my dad yet again, he gets their I drop my plow in the middle of the road get pulled back by the tow truck driver so my dad could get my plow hooked up and then I was on my way to the Ford dealer with yet another $110.00 tow bill.
So I'm at $510.00 dollars being spent today truck gets to the dealer which amazingly gets in right away.
1hr later I get a call saying its my crank shaft sensor, I'm like great whats this going to cost and they say "NOTHING", I'm like I'm sorry you must have broke up did you say nothing he say yeah it's a recall something like the 97-00 had issues with them.
It was the only good news I had for today and my truck will be ready tommorow.

Well the truck has been a true champion. Owned her for 3 years now and plowed, pushed, and hauled heavy loads and really never had problems. The 99.5 year that I do have is the 7.3 liter Navstar the last year before the designed and developed the shitty 6.0 and to never make a 7.3 again.
So just to say fuck it and dump it off for another $25,000 to $30,000 truck when this one is payed for would be a lack of the better word "stupid". At least it was a FREE fix.

I don't know, I plow when it snows and that sounds like a normal day.

On our crew, someone was trying to get their diesel truck started. Wouldn't start for him.
Called another guy with a gas truck out to jump start the truck. After trying to jump the diesel truck, still didn't start for him.
So they called someone with a diesel truck (thinking that they needed a diesel truck to jump start a diesel truck) to jump the truck and all of them were standing around and couldn't figure out what was wrong.
I am ticked off because he called 2 guys way off their route to see if they can get the truck started. Time is money and all of them were standing around.

I look at it just for a second and noticed the battery clamps on one battery were not tight, tighten them and started right up without even needing to be jump started.
