Hope ya'll can forgive me for not being around much today, but you will see why. :P

I was in New Orleans for the Steel Pony 2003 show. I have never seen so many motorcycles in one place in my life, from show bikes to owned bikes in the parking lot. There had to be between 4000-5000 bikes in the parking lot at the arena, NO BULLSHIT.

My digital camera took some shitty pics, but you will get the idea.

This was one of the first show bikes I saw. It looks a little plain compared to the rest, but the paint was awesome. Very small and finely painted faded flames. If you look close enough you might be able to see them.

This is one of Dave Perowitz's creations. Awesome bike.

This is Dave Perowitz and me standing next to the bike he built for "The Great Biker Build-off" competition that was on one of the Discovery channels recently.

This is a West Coast Choppers creation (Jesse James). Another fine machine.

This is Paul Yaffe and me kneeling next to the bike he built for "The Great Biker Build-off" competition. I love the low "drag" look on a street bike.

I don't remember who built this bike, but the picture does not do it justice.

I tried to get a good shot of both of those bikes together, but it didn't come out too well. Those bikes were some kind of fine.

Probably my third favorite bike at the show. Can you say "long & low"? That's the top of the rear tire, not a second seat at the rear fender.

This was my second favorite bike at the show. I wish the pic was better so you could see the details on this bike. It had a "one sided" swing arm on the rear and the wheel just bolted to the hub.

This was my favorite of the show. It was black with purple pearl flames. It's hard to see in the picture, but it is fuel injected and has a "roots" blower mounted on the side of the engine.

The "Fire Bike" from O.C.C. (Orange County Choppers). I wish this pic had come out better also. If you look close enough you will see the carburator which is cut from billet aluminum into the shape of a fire hydrant.

The O.C.C. SpyderMan bike. poor photo, but it was fine as you would expect.

Yeah

My hair was like a bad marriage. I asked it to stay and be faithful, but it kept leaving me at times, so I kicked it the fuck out. :P

Awesome pictures Mike! Even though they didn't turn out well, you can see how sweet the bikes are. That would have been a cool event to be at.

Great pics! Just so you know that is not the spiderman bike from OCC. That is the black widow bike bike that they built and all I have to say for that bike is damn.... I bet it is even better in person. BTW the there is a spiderman bike that they did and sold but it had actual spiderman symbols all over it and had that kinda theme.
