MAPerformance FDSM 9.14 @ 153.7mph Video

Click the image above for more info on the car!

We didn't quite reach our goal of an 8 second pass, but I'm starting to think it is next to impossible on these tires and the factory IRS suspension configuration. It launched pretty hard (Best 60' 1.45) but as soon as it hit second which was out of the traction compound it was all over the place. We may try again this season, but it's getting a solid axle and bigger tires this winter for sure!

Edit: I forgot to mention this pass was at about 830whp as anything more would simply overpower the tires at half track.

Do you have more adjustment for getting more weight transfer over the rear wheels? You should have enough torque to pull the front wheels completely, but that might not be possible with the IRS geometry. Although there is a guy running mid-8's in an older Vette with IRS carrying the wheels for quite a ways.

Very nice! Congrats! I agree with Steve, you might look into moving more weight back or getting better transfer. It also looked like you bottomed out the rear shocks, which can cause traction issues. Time for some slo-mo analysis.

Any sort of boost control or just full boost full time?

It pulled the wheels momentarily on one of the runs, but we definitely have some suspension issues as it is definitely bottoming out which is causing it to bounce. Rather than waste more money on this IRS (which is surprisingly still in one piece lol) we will be going Ford 9" with a four link setup shortly.

Full time. We thought about running stages of boost as well, but we don't have wheel speed or a means for the AEM to know which gear we are in at this point.
