Re: What's wrong here?

Shouldn't that be covered under the ball-joint recall?

Re: What's wrong here?

Safety recalls last forever and must be performed as often as necessary. Verify the recall was for the failed part and tow it to the dealership (the tow charged should be covered by the recall too).

Yep I got $500 from Chrysler by writing them a letter and sending a copy of the bill for the exact same problem.
Then I took it to the dealership and had them replace the other one.

Isn't the transfer case recall 1G only?

They won't cover your tow. At least, not Roseville Chrysler. Not even if they tell you they will cover it. They are asshats.

So what if it's already been performed once? Should it be done again?

Re: What's wrong here?

I checked for all the recalls on every DSM that i have bought.

You got to figure these cars just go thru ass hat kids that just want to mod the thing and complain about them breaking. (whats maintenance?)

Poor luck dude, hopefully they cover it like everyone says.

I didn't know that they didn't release the T-case recall until 1998!! thats nuts.

Re: What's wrong here?

How do you find out if the recall has already been done?
Also if you have a modified car is it still able to get the recall?

Re: What's wrong here?

You give the dealership your VIN# and they can tell you if its already been done or not. Safety recalls will be covered on all street cars even if they are modded.
