idle issues

Ok I. Just put in a new motor in my car its a 7 bolt with a 1g head intake and tb. I have an evo 3 16g and fmic. Now I have an idle issue, of idles fine when I first start the car but after 5 minutes or so it jumps to 2k then if I shut it off for a minute and turn it back on it idles fine.

Any ideas?

Re: idle issues

I had similar issues when I did a 6 bolt swap, but after a few months the problem went away. Now that I switched to a NT throttle body and switched over my ISC and sensors I'm having the exact same problem. I was thinking that the ISC had to adjust over time to the different TB. I have really high idle and/or idle surge again, yay.

I talked with Brandon (Halon) last night and he mentioned resetting the idle, but you have to ground a pin in the engine bay or something. Is this just for a 1g? Is there anything you can do on a 2g?

I know it's not the BISS because after the car gets to full operating temp and I restart the car it idles fine at 1000.
