Noob with 97 gst spyder St Paul

Hello everyone. I just picked up a dsm. I came from the subaru family so I know nothing about DSM's yet. So far its all stock and I plan on keeoing it like that for a bit. My frist gear pops out and grinds so I will be seaking technical advice. So far havent got pics yet but will update soon! Thanks all,

thanks guys. I dont plan on having this for a long time, maybe for a year. I just want a dailey driver while I reswap my subie

I'll get pics in a few days. Its in the garage now looking flashy , has a slight tranny and alternator problem. Not much to list about the car, its a red/black top convertable with a 5spd fwd, with 109xxx. All stock, I think its gonna stay that way though unless I get hit in the head to add a bigger turbo, ems, exhaust, etc... but so far I don't wanna spend too much $ on it since I plan on driving it to and from work (4 blocks )
