Haha crazy. Not my choice for a fast DD but it's inventive!

I was wondering why he wasted money on an Olds block, until I saw the Toronado tranny. I still probably would rather bolt up an LS1 with twin turbos, lighter and faster. I doubt that boat anchor is making 1000 hp.

Whats wrong with olds 455? My dad loves olds engines (67 442 olds). They would have more torque then a LS1 motor.

with the stress of the weight change, I would think it would still get like 15-12 MPG on either engine.

Not the same car, but better execution, nonetheless.
