1991 laser fwd Q

i was just kind of woundering what you guy's think of these car's, i can get one for dam cheep, my 2g project is not going so well do to a shit ton of rust, i mean a whole driverside floor is rusted out, i am going to pull my 6bolt out of my 2g and part that out " so if all goes good this weekend with picking up this car i WILL be parting out my 95 GST" and put the 6bolt it in the laser maybe this weekend if all goes well. "laser has bad head due to broken timing belt at idle"

so just woundering what every one thinks of these car's, i know it's the poor man's eclipse and i am a poor now cause of a POS 2g, so i will be posting on friday if im parting out my 2g so if you need something let me know.

Re: 1991 laser fwd Q

Do it! It can be a highway/commuter monster! The '90-91 Laser FWD is the lightest DSM and it won't have the AWD driveline loss. I used to get over 30mpg on the highway with my 20G'd '94 Talon TSi FWD.

Fwd isn't all that bad. No launching means less strain on drivetrain parts, and they can get going pretty damn good on rolls.

I say do it. They have quite the personality.

Go do it. I have one and it is a total sleeper because it looks like a cheap non-turbo laser. It catch allot of ricers off guard.
