My new doggie, Jill!
So a few weeks ago I got a call from the breeder we got Turbo from. She said she was retiring one of their mothers, and it was Turbo's mother! She needed a good home to spend the rest of her life, and some loving people to take care of her! While not really a rescue dog, we feel pretty good about the fact that we decided to take her in.
So, Turbo is almost 4 now, and 26 pounds. You've all seen him around at various events through the summer or at my place. Jill is 8 years old and in very good health only weighs 18 pounds! She is a little girl for sure!
Anyways, we now have a pair of beagles to cruise around with!
First couple days were pretty chill with her. She got spayed and had a nasty hernia fixed the day we picked her up:
Turbo did a good job of watching over her though:
She was up and cruising around in no time:
See how small she is!
Turbo on the left, Jill on the right:

Re: My new doggie, Jill!
Pugs should have a good time playing with them! He is a 21 lb and still growing a bit. He is a big pug!
It looks like she is a bit timid yet, but I am sure she will get comfortable shortly. Did turbo realize she was his mother after all that time?

Some good looking beagles right there! I think my beagle wouldn't stop howling if there was another beagle around to egg him on.

Re: My new doggie, Jill!
Heh both dogs are 'fixed' so any humping that goes on will prolly be just a dominance thing. Neither of the dogs howl or bey at all, which is freaking awesome! Not sure if turbo knows its his mom or whatever, but he sure does like her!

Re: My new doggie, Jill!
Too bad, if they humped and made a puppy maybe it'd be retarded and you could name it TIMMAYYY! But congrats on picking her up! I wish my cat got along with other animals so I could have a 2nd cat.

Re: My new doggie, Jill!
So yesterday Anna is watching jill out the window and watches her climb up the snow pile in between the garage and the fence for the neighbor's yard. She jumps over about the 20" of fence there and cruises around the neighbor's yard. Anna goes and gets her, and starts to shovel that away. This snow has been there all winter so it takes her a while, but after she gets about 10" out she figures thats good. Jill is 8 and can't jump super hawt. WRONG. She does it again. Anna shovels more and more, and a few neighbor visits later to retrieve the dog there is 40" of fence left. She jumps again and made it! Freaking 40"!
Now there is 42" and she can't make it

We also gave the pups a bath last night
