Wow, there's some pretty cool stuff in here. It's nice to see what can happen when you start from scratch and throw away conventional wisdom. Who would have thought that you can make an engine w/o intake and exhaust manifolds.

Yea i saw that in an automotive engineering journal a few weeks ago. Very awesome stuff. Nice to see a clean slate approach from a company as bloated as GM.
Well, that's cool. And I hope they do the "clean slate" thing with all their stuff. They could redesign a lot of stuff and not only make it better, but reduce costs as well. They could make all their engines have fewer extraneous parts. Who says engines have to be a certain way? good for them.
