Paintball
Ok, first of all, I found some ancient threads out there, but I didn't feel like bringing any of them back, so I thought I'd start a new one.
Who here plays paintball? I just played for the first time a few weeks ago and I loved it. I ended up buying a Tipmann 98 custom from my buddy for pretty cheap, and now I want to go out and play again.
Who wants to get a big game going sometime this fall? Newbies vs old timers, Mitsu owners vs. smart people , admins vs the world... We could really get some interesting stuff going.

Re: Paintball
I wouldnt' hesitate to buying another gun and going out on a regular basis again but I don't like the indoor stuff or the speed ball shit. I love the out in the woods, crawling in brush and up trees type shit.

Same here. Played over at splat tag? something like that on the Wisconsin border. Pretty good rates. Just that the paintball we bought at the local store sucked ass.
Would be cool going out to play again.

Re: Paintball
I've heard Special Forces is about the best you can get for outdoor paintball in the Twin Cities area. I'd be up for it any time.

That's where I played a couple weeks ago. I have no basis for comparison, all I can say is that it was awesome. I payed $65 for 4 hours, gun rental, a couple gatorades, and 500 extra paintballs. I thought it was a hell of a deal. It's $35 if you have your own gun and mask.
Here's the website. http://www.specialforcespaintball.com/

Re: Paintball
Yeah, it isn't bad there, plus they allow you to bring your own paint.

Re: Paintball
Good luck in LA Craig!
If I were to get something set up for say Nov. 10th (Saturday) at special forces, how many people would be in for sure. We need a minimum of 10 to have our own group game and anything above that is gravy. I know of at least 3 others (not on this site) that might be interested in going too.
Let's get a game going!

Re: Paintball
It's all wooded with bunkers and trees and ravines and streams and hills and yeah, not speedball. When I was there they had all kinds of games set up and ready to play. They had one where one team went and hid in the woods, while another team came up on a beach in a boat. The idea was to get your teams flag (the beach team) to the rocket ship without getting shot.
They had all kinds of games. I can't remember them exactly, but I know they had a lot of flag based games (capture the flag etc.). Think 10 person Halo in real life.

Re: Paintball
I like woodsball. Used to play with my step-brother and some of his friends, but my gun crapped out on me (won't recock itself) and I rarely got to play so I kind of gave it up.

Re: Paintball
Mitsustyle paintball would be a hell of a lot of fun. Got to get my gun fixed and a new mask though!
