The Most Collectible PCs of All Time

http://tech.msn.com/products/slidesh...9&imageindex=1

I've got one on the list at my parents place, the old Commadore 64. I think I still have a football game for it that requires around 20 disc to play.

I took two years of Apple basic using one of those Apple II's in high school. And we had that Tandy TRS-80 at home.

We had the Commodore PET's in grade school, Apple II's in high school. We still have a C64, TI-94 and Atari 800.

Re: The Most Collectible PCs of All Time

It's Coleco. :-)

We had that and the computer version, the Super Coleco. It played Zaxxon from a cassette style drive. Cool stuff around 1981.

Re: The Most Collectible PCs of All Time

Several years back I started collecting PC's being that I've been in the IT industry for the last 15+ years.

I have a Commodore 64, Atari 600XL (computer), Apple IIe and a Timex Sinclair 1000 computer in my collection.

I would love to have a Imasai 8080 -- made famous in the movie 'WarGames' if anyone saw it.

So what do/did people use the "computers" with only switches and lights on them for? I only know of the Apple ll, but its cool they are worth money.

Re: The Most Collectible PCs of All Time

I am surprised that the TI-99 computer was not on the list. I think thats the one my parents had. But eh...I only used it for that speech program. I had fun typing words into it and it sounded it back to me. hahaha

Oh and Oregon Trail freaking ruled. I have navigated the river many times.
