Exclamation what to do??

i dont know that to do about my block. i have a 91 gs-t and i just put some small power adders on it. nothing crazy. the motor comps out at 152-154 across the board. it has 113xxx miles on it. the thing is, my front motor mount broke. well not the mount itself, but the part where it bolts to the block. the block is broken. i havent driven it since it happened and i just dont know what to do. the motor is prime except for this. has anyone else had this happen and what should i do?? do i have to bring it to a welding shop and see if they can repair it or something?? i dunno. i have never seen anything like this. lmk thanks, -josh

Re: what to do??

I would try a welding shop, or fab up a new front motor mount/weld the mount to the motor.

I repaired that same ear on one of mine years ago. It finally took welding it with nickel rod to get it to hold. Also make sure the block is preheated thoroughly before you weld. This can be done in the car of course.

And it has to be very, very clean or it wont weld worth a dam. Very clean, very dry in that area. Not to mention that any oil/grime can sometimes catch fire.
