Hmmmm, what did I want to do with my life again? Oh yeah, that! Not as extreme as fuckin algae panels, but thats what I want to use my future MechE degree for.

Cuts down in smelting costs (which takes a ton of energy to do as well). Also, it follows along with the green metality - renew/reuseable. The only thing I question is how safe are these cars, since they're designed essentially with paper and epoxy for panelling.

Hope you like math. And as far as design, you'd be better off with a degree more closely related to design. Let the other engineers deal with making the materials!

I was doing MechE in college for two years, and applying it might have been rewarding, but the school part of it was most def. not. At least for me. bottom line: follow your dreams. If you make a car like that hummer concept, i'll buy it.
