Buddies Turbo Integra stolen...

Well as some of you know my Roomate who has a turbo integra with pretty built motor was stolen like 5 days ago, while he was in eating dinner with some coworkers. he went out to get into his car and it was gone. This was in a city that is really known for street racing and imports. But like i said he was just going out to eat with coworkers. He kept this car looking like shit for this reason, to keep people from stealing the car, it had numerous dents and didnt have a body kit or anything to show that he had anything done.
He had everything done under the hood, including LS Vtec Turbo, built, with many supporting mods.
Well today he called the police station in Ontario, CA, and they said that they had found the car. He was excited because they said it wasnt stripped.
He went to the impound and when he popped the hood he found nothing under it. No engine, ecu, hondata, turbo, everything was gone. Including my video camera.
Earlier that day he had gone and finally got it tuned. which really sucks because the car was FINALLY running perfect, with no idle surge or anything (which is why my camera was in his car, so he could video tape the dyno runs) I had done a lot of the work on that car, the night before i had left i had just put in a new 255 fuel pump, which at least that was still there.
I hate fucking theives, we are going to hit up a lot of the meets and start checking engines, hopefully the theif will be stupid enough to pop his hood, and as soon as we see the Mugen Valve cover with a small chip in the side of it, someone is getting a beat down.

That is shitty but no surprise at all. Even in MN that is a common car to steal shitty looking or not. Find the fuckers that did it and pound them into the ground.

I would almost guess that somebody saw it on the dyno and wrote down his plate for "future reference". Just seem really odd that the day he gets it tuned is the day it gets jacked. We need to make alarm systems with tasers. Just let them get in and sit down and zap'em. Then do it every thirty seconds till it's disarmed.

Re: Buddies Turbo Integra stolen...

well he found out from a buddy that for that year of integra, honda made only 5 different key patterns. which i thought to be really wierd. anyone know if this is true?
Anyways, my girlfriend decided to use my camera getting taken as a perfect xmas present, she got me a Canon ZR500 camera. WOOT.
Well my buddy today got approved for a Mazda RX7 twin turbo, the FD body. Freakin sweet. There is a local dealership that deals only in Import Exotics, on their lot they have a Skyline, TT Supra, Silvia, and an NSX, as well as 3 GSTs and a GSX. and more. its a nice dealership, really small run by two azn guys.
