8 gallons a tank?
Well my car is only holding 8 gallons a tank and i was wondering is there maybe something wrong with it?
Also on the gas meter it only goes half full after i fill it up and it only takes 8 gallons of gas?
Anyhelp of the sort would be much apreciated thanks everyone.

You arent running it empty. Your float is off.
When your gauge says empty you probably arent even close.

Something is wrong with my float, My tank is always on E. I just wait for the light to tell me to fill up!

Now your calling him names? I think both people's wires are shot and the problem is most likely near the tank and outside the car. Lots of debris and exposure to elements will do some work to wires.

Do you have a 2G? They have a saddle-style tank, and fuel from the far side tank may not be getting sucked over to the driver's side.
