Re: Cool car

That is pretty badass. Everything is one-off it looks like. The even the catchcan looks like it came there. It's turbocharged, but I've never seen a setup like that (on the passenger side in the engine bay). I think that chrome box before it runs to the IC is a MAF and the disc shaped thing next to it is the wastegate. The BOV is on the other side, and it looks like a thinner version of an HKS. Thing is sick as hell.

Re: Cool car

if you take some time to look around this guys site, you can find other pictures of his car, halfway down the (link below)page you can see a picture of the supercharger....not exactly sure how the piping works, but this guy knows what he is doing.

Re: Cool car

I'm not sure if anyone has read about this, but in 08 or 09 they plan on releasing a new version of the golf. Going to come both turbo and supercharged from the factory on a 1.5 or 1.6l engine putting 160hp to the crank i read. Been a good month and don't remember much, but i'd imagine the golfs will end up looking like this one some day. :-D

Re: Cool car

the Phaeton and the R32 are the only cars VW makes that can be saved, all the rest need to go to the crusher.

IMHO

Re: Cool car

Amazing work on the body. Find the body page and you'll see what I mean. All the lower panels are made of aluminum.

Re: Cool car

It looks good, but the engine is lacking. I'm thinking he had little to work with.
