IC Pipe Poped

Taking off the other day with the new "Pipe" in, i poped it off. I think i hit fuel cut cause the system went from 6k to about 3k in no time flat. I spiked the air to 18 psi, and i know that's when the stock system can't hold it's own. But the whole front of the car skipped and in the process knocked the lower radiator hose loose on the radiator. Would this series of events cause my radiator cap to go bad?

I checked it two days before the incident. Screwed on tight, sealed and had no issues. After this the spring inside didn't hold tight and it wiggled when put on all the way. Held no presure and was leaking.
