Dyno Day Chaos
Are you ready to rumble? Ready to see grown men cry as their car falls apart in front of their eyes, or their soup'd up ride gets the doors blown off by an old-ass rusty bucket? If not, stay home, sleep in, and enjoy a lazy sunday. But if you want to get down & dirty with some high boost, high octane, high horsepower action, then get your ass to DB Performance THIS SUNDAY at 11AM for the DSMSTYLE.com Summer Bash. Food is $5 for all you can eat & drink, and it's only $60 to toss your beater or dream-machine onto the rollers to see what it's got.
At the last event we gave out some gag gifts that included Curt's new car alarm, specialty driving gloves, and even a shiny new set of balls for Swifty! THIS TIME WE HAVE REAL PRIZES!!! That's right! I have several hundred dollers worth of prizes donated by our sponsors and myself: T-shirts, cases of mobil1 10w30, oil filters, redline fluids, and oh yea, did I mention the Forced Performance 4" Cast Aluminum Intake Pipe? That's right, after I bought one recently I talked Rob @ FP into send me one of these bad-boys to be given away at this event.
So, go burn off that namby-pamby 92 or 93 octane that's in your car right now, swing by your local high-octane distributor, and crank up the boost, because it's gonna be a blast!
All the details are in the General Events Section. SEE YOU THERE!!!

LOL!!! That's the first time I've seen that scooter footage. What are you shooting for with the mods? 1.1, 1.2 hp?

Re: Dyno Day Chaos
.. Ya know, I still play with those shiny silver balls. They are sitting on my desk at home..great stress reliever! Count me in for the dyno this sunday. I'll be there, but I'm not tuned yet, so I won't get on most likely.

Re: Dyno Day Chaos
New cams are being installed right now, just had to take a break. I'm still deciding whether or not I'm going to run just pump gas, or some Steve and Barry's.

Re: Dyno Day Chaos
Are we required to sign up in advance? I would like to go but it will be a last minute decision.

And if you are looking for the nearest high octane gas, there is Kisch Oil Company that sells 100 unleaded. Its just a few miles from DB Performance and sells for $4.55 a gallon:

Re: Dyno Day Chaos
Chris, are you bringing your beagle?? I might bring Mitsu and Beeshe with.
And if anyone wants to take a tour of my Mitsubishi museum, I only live like 3-4 blocks away from DB.
later,
Curt

I filled up with 100 octane from a gas station in St. Paul and it was definately old (the name is Colonial I think). My car was not happy. I don't think 100 octane gas sells quick enough to stay fresh.

I haven't used it this year, but I've used the 100 unleaded from there last year. It ran fine in my Stealth.
