A major earthquake measuring 8.1 on the Richter scale has just hit Mexico. According to news agencies, authorities expect major casualties (could total hundreds of thousands) and just as many survivors with severe or life threatening injuries. The country has taken a major hit with financial troubles to arise from this. Mexico's government is asking for help from around the world. The rest of the world is in shock. So far help is on the way from these countries;
Canada is sending troops to help the Mexican army control the riots.
Saudi Arabia is sending surplus oil.
All other Latin American countries are sending supplies.
The European community (except France of course) is sending food and financial aid.
The United States, not to be outdone, is sending two million replacement Mexicans out of our own surplus.
