Ok well my first question is if i have a 7bolt head with a 6bolt block which gasket set should i get?? My other question is i have a 7bolt flywheel and 2600 clutch, i was told i could use the clutch but you have to get a 6bolt flywheel. Is this true? the source was pretty reliable he helped me out with a lot of other things. How much power does it take away from using this set up a 7bolt head and 6bolt block? i heard you loose power this way, but the head and block are ported and bored. Thanks for the help guys.

6 bolt and 7 bolt head gaskets are the same. Depending on what year head you have, it could be just as good as any 6 bolt head. If it is from a 95-99 then it will have smaller intake ports which can be better for spooling smaller turbos.
(Dont forget to have the head drilled out to fit the larger head studs)
You also need to keep the 2g starter plate that bolts to the block behind the flywheel. Take it off of your 7 bolt block and bolt it to the 6 bolt block.
