Anyone too tall for their dsm?

Im coming to realize that my car just isnt too comfortable as I need to lean my head to the right in the sunroof spot to fit in the damn thing. My power seat is pushed all the way down too. Anyone else have this problem And a possible solution?

I have a racing seat Im thinking about putting in. Its a sparco speed seat. You think this will lower the seat height?

Re: Anyone too tall for their dsm?

I think the other seat will probably lower it a little, but it most likely will need rails unless you already have some. You could just lean your seat back until it is almost on the back seat like most of the cool people do though.

Re: Anyone too tall for their dsm?

I fit pretty well in my 1G. Only problem I have is that I can barely see the hood, but thats no biggie. Good thing we have bucket seats. With normal seats I'd be hitting my head too...

Re: Anyone too tall for their dsm?

Who isn't to tall? My head rubs against the roof liner during normal driving. And when I race with a helmet on I have to tilt my head to the side.

Now that I can't get my seat to go all the way back anymore, it really sucks with my head all up in the ceiling...

Re: Anyone too tall for their dsm?

I'm 6'4" and 220lbs. The Sunroof liner thing is standard for me. I have the Sparco Fully adjustable Mounts with sliders for my Torino's. which raised my seat about an 1"

However I had LSE Mount my cage at an angle so that I can recline the back of my seats to help me with the head room. Pictures are located on my website or LSE's for that matter.

Not so much fun though when I have to use my 6pnt's when I strap myself in I can no longer reach the steering wheel so I have to adjust the back up to compensate.

I am, and the couple times I have ridden/driven DSM's I hadn't noticed any problems, but I like to recline a bit because I'm a lanky sonofabitch.

I'm 5'2"
shoot I couldnt even get the motorcycle I wanted (R6) because they couldn't lower it enough for me. So I had to settle for a GSXR because they can lower it enough. Even with it lowered all the way with a drag link mind you; I need to either wear 3" heels or shave me seat to have my feet flat on the ground
I wish I was like 5'6" lol
