front motor mount in the way...

Just wondering if anyone out there makes a better mount or knows of a good fix for those of us with garrets/holsets with the oil return right into the front motor mount... I think this is a 1g AWD issue cause my 1g FWD theres lots of room... Ideas?

I had that same problem with my return not clearing the mount along with swift's problem of not clearing the compressor housing, it was really frustrating. I took my motor mount out and ground away at it with a carbide bit to allow clearance.

Re: front motor mount in the way...

Grinder, sweat and swearing at it help lower the edge closest to the pan gave me enough room for -10AN line.
Having a fitting with angled threads helped a lot too.

Heh, I was just wondering if there was some sweet trick I was obilvious to that everyone else was doing. I have a -10AN on there now and I had some smoking issues, but I have determined its the crankcase pressure that is causing the problems now.
