LocTite the oil squirters?

I am going to be starting a build in the next week and am wondering if the oil squirters should be locktite'd.

I know ive read here or somewhere else that some people have had problems with oil squirters falling out. So should I throw some Loc Tite on each of them or just torque them properly?

I locktite them in, be careful as to how much you use, if it is excessive in any way, it could end up in the valve of the squirter and potentially be a problem. Proper torque is also pretty important, the bolt is hollow and will stretch easily if you overtorque it at all. 25lbs, no more or less.

I've never had problems with them falling out, but breaking the nozzle itself. This was with my first rebuild and found that the squirters are slightly adjustable. Make sure that the piston skirts don't contact the squirters before you button the motor up.

And yes, I would recc. loctite on them. Red type.
