This could have been me! I was riding in my buddy's S4 near downtown on 94W when we saw this thing wobbling and flying way up in the air, came up right over the median. It was coming RIGHT at us, we were already in the left lane so he moved over and hugged the wall. Seriously I remember ducking and looking over, his mirror was like 2 inches from the wall. I followed the thing as it came at us and it ended up going past the passenger window, maybe missed the car by about 1 foot!

Needless to say, I am thankful to be alive!!!!!

Not too long ago there was a story about a wheel that came off a garbage truck and killed a guy driving a truck. The guy with the BMW should be thankfull to be alive. Another foot to the left, and he wouldn't be.

I think the DOT or someone may be mandating these wheel check devices on large trucks soon. IMO we should just get thoughs guys off the road and use more trains, but that may become a heated debate and we shouldnt get into it here

Yea man, that Bimmer was really fuckin clean too. I wanted that car! lol
