OK I just wanted to get everyones idea on how they thought the concert went. I thought it was bad ass even though I didn't get very close up seating. Anyway, I just hope my sexy man had a blast on his birthday. I love you Rick!

Story of the Year was better than what I expected. Hoobastank was good. And as for POD.....
Linkin Park simply OWNED
Can't believe some people actually left after they "did their last song."
I'll throw up some pics once I get them on the other computer.

Story of the year started off kinda gay till they busted out some Metallica. Once they played Enter Sandman the crowd seemed to get into them a bit more. They put on a decent show and have some skill. Hoobastank was good, but thier music sounds better on CD. Just couldn't make out much and not much of a show. P.O.D was pretty good. Real easy to hear the music which was good for the songs I didn't know.
Linkin Park... What more is there to say, but they do kick ass and their Music just gets the blood flowing. The owrds, the meaning, the vibe! It all just works. Was I impressed by the show? No. I am thrilled abotu seeing them in concert, but will I go again unless they have alot of new shit out or are palying with other large bands I'd like to see. Nope. I know people will kick me for this, but I think I enjoyed the Nickleback concert more as a whole and as a performance. For music yes, the LP concert with Hoobastank and POD and Story of the Year was better.

Story of the year was decent. For me, I'd heard them but never knew who they were. But they weren't bad. The lead vocalist was cussing every five seconds, that was sorta funny. Hoobastank did good. But I'm not really into them. P.O.D. tore it up I thought. They had a really nice session. They were rockin. But as stated and obvious, Linkin Park owned the show. I was impressed. That was my first concert....and wow.

That was the fucking best concert ever! I wish I could relive last night, but the closest I can get is Live in Texas. So yea. Rickey- That was your first concert? Hmm, I thought you would have been to a shitload more. That was only my second concert ever. my first was A Perfect Circle. Which also owned as well, I might add.

Naw, I've been to quite a few basketball/football and hockey games. And quite a few WWE and WCW events. But that was the first concert, and it blew everything else away.

I was impressed with Story of the Year, but I'll be impressed with any group who jams a Metallica song as good as they did. I have to agree that LP didn't put on that great of a show, but I didn't go to see a "show" put on. I went to hear them and see them play live. Any time they come to town I'm going to be there.

Even though it's been repeated 15 times I'd like to add that I thought the show was absolutely phenominal, it definitely ranks up there with it being one of my top three favorite shows. The guys in the band were so cool, the music rocked, and not to mention the visuals were pretty kick ass as well. I too would see them again next time they roll around. I was at their concert at the Quest back in 2000 when Hybrid Theory had just come out and I liked them then, but they were still a little rough IMO. Four years later and wow, they blew my mind!
