.91 is not rich. And EGTs are also innaccurate and vary from EGT sensor location to EGT sensor/gauge model. 1650+ is also the dangerous zone for EGTs, 1550 would be a pretty good EGT temp. EGTs aren't very good for tuning though, they respond more to retarded timing than being lean. They can be used for individual cylinder trim tuning, if you have 4 of them, then they actually become useful.
