You need to know the gearing ratio of the transfer case also. Even on DSMs, you can't go randomly swapping transfer cases from one car to another even if they fit. If you have the wrong transfer case on for your rear end or tranny then your viscous coupler will probably burn up. If you have a welded VC in, then your rear end will probably start smoking and soon lockup.
