If the block threads are clean then I loctite them and let it dry for 24 hours. Also don't thread them all down to the bottom and leave them there. Back them out an 1/8th or 1/4 turn. Don't overtorque them either, too much torque and they are going to stretch and be weaker than if you had just done them at the correct torque.
