Re: 95 Tsi Awd PPPPPProject
Got er fixed up last week for the most part.
Slave was leaking from the crush washers on the line.
Axle hanger came loose, causing the boot to come partially off.(dont mind the oil its just from the power steering loop leaking, I plan to pull the rack when the tie rod ends get replaced here soon)
Heres a pretty awesome heat mark on the front and back of the flywheel in the same spot.
Heres the whole reason it came back out, last 2 pics are centered on my old fidanza starter ring.
Clutch disk looked good as did the pressure plate, scuffed em with some 400 grit and put em in with the fidanza.
Being that the fidanza was used, I rolled around it with a 60grit 3M ROLOC disc on a pneumatic sander a few times to make sure there weren't any gouges/groves/unseen high/low spots in it, followed by a 100grit surfacing pad which left it with a nice smooth level finish. Wish I would have taken some pics of this......
Car Shifts better than it ever has since the clutch disengages with one push of the pedal and not 25 pumps haha.
