I've actually been planning on selling my IX and picking up another S2k for a while now, but then my IX got T-boned and gave me plenty of opportunity to test-drive all sorts of stuff. Scheides plus many others took the opportunity to toss me their keys to the X insisting I'll love it...they were right. I decided that I would miss the room and power of the Evo if I went with a S2000. I have been browsing the used ones for a few weeks now, but the few I actually liked were way over-priced and it seemed stupid when I could just pick up exactly what I wanted brand new with the 0% financing deal.
I've also been quietly gathering parts so I already have quite the pile of stuff here awaiting GheyrodX's arrival:
-Ultimate Racing dual-exit catback (with midpipe mini-muffler option)
-Perrin turbo inlet hose
-AFE Stage 2 intake system
-Tactrix 2.0 cable
-a whole pile of bushings and other misc. stuff I ordered from MAP yesterday
-Scheides is also supposed to pick up a DB MBC for me today from Shane
