Sounds like there was more chance of the cop getting hit by the other cop than you hitting him. I don't understand how cops are so retarded and can't even get the car info right. They have everything right in front of them; not to mention your car is still badged. Sounds to me like he wasn't paying very close attn to the situation and mistook you for another car
