Looks like you're in good shape then. If you're confident in your job not falling through (bad economy, etc.) then your $12k would make for a good down-payment on a nice WRX or Evo and you could take out a loan for the rest. When you're setting your budget don't forget to account for rent, utilities, and all the other misc. crap that you never expect but always pops up. The last thing you want to do is stretch yourself thin right off the bat coming out of college.
If you're responsible and realistic with your money than taking out a few loans can be great for your credit rating which will save you a lot of money down road; especially when buying a house. Shop around and make sure you're getting the best possible APR.
