You take all of the plugs out of the oil filter housing and clean it. Sometimes you can clean the pickup screen, sometimes you replace it. You normally change the oil pump with any rebuild. Catch-can shouldn't put oil back into the motor. Hopefully shavings aren't in the valve cover baffles, you atleast clean it. Dipstick tube is easy to clean. So kinda yes. It's just not easy to clean an oil cooler or know if it's clean and it's not worth destroying a motor over it.
