Did anyone even read what crazyboost posted above? Don't expect a huge HP gain from cams. There will be a good gain in the 7000-7500 range(I dunno about with a 14B that doesn't flow crap at that level), but not a lot of a peak HP gain. the 10-15HP gain that AMS got in their testing are right inline with the gains that I have got on cars that we put cams in, even ones with bigger turbos. Even HKS 272/272s are no where near a wild cam when compared to the cams you see on domestics and VTEC cars. To run an aggressive cam in our heads you need to cut down the valve guides to actually get some high lift. Cams are a decent mod, but they can be put off for quite a while. I would like to see what the power curve is like on a car with a sheetmetal intake and stock cams. With aftermarket cams the power still starts falling in the 6500RPM area, it usually take a sheetmetal intake to hold the power out longer or have it keep rising.
