If you can not find a leak in the intake then look at were the exhaust is going. You have a 2g mani or something better? Is the engine tired out or is it from a freash rebuild. I don't know I am grasping at straws because this is stumping me too. Go back to the Boost controler see if thats messed up again.... How about your head could it have a bent valve... or a few. I hope you find the problem. It could be the WG after all. And switching to a Tial will fix the problem! Give HKS a call again. Talk to someone else.
Yes the hot side is what creates the boost and I have my exhaust mani off the car right now and I was going to take a look at the fins last night, but 2:00am came too fast and I got tired lol. So yes, I believe the fins on the exhaust side could possibly be the problem and I'll know for sure later today when I'm off work. But thanks for the thought on that!

I have a heavily ported 2g manifold. The engine runs great. About 25-30k on a 7bolt rebuild. The head is a ported evoIII that was put on a few months ago. I have a slight lifter tick at times, but that's the worst of it that I know of. I may try to borrow my buddies boost controller and see if that's the problem but not untill I check the fins first.

Everybody tells me to switch to a tial and I would love to. They have a great reputation, especially with wgs and bovs. My only problem is I've got this manifold flanged for a hks and if I were to switch to a tial I'd need a new mani as well as a tial wg and that gets a little pricey. I'd really like to fix the wg if possible.

Thanks for the reply and I'll let you know about the fins later today.
