Maybe he meant the Evo is too much for him as far as power.
It's funny that a 286HP rated Evo 9 will put down a decent amount more HP to the wheels on a dyno than a 300HP rated STi. And then with an exhaust, MBC and tuning you can pick up another 60-70whp with the Evo 9.
