Re: Uprading my 50trim to an SCM60

The 60-trim has a bigger inducer, 54mm for the 50-trim versus 58mm for the 60-trim. But the 50-trim has a slightly larger exducer than the 60-trim and is more efficient at high boost. The 50-trim is usually rated to flow in the 47-49 lb/min range while the 60-trim is rated at 50 lb/min. So, with both totally maxed out, the 60-trim might be good for 10-30 more HP worth of airflow. The 50-trim has been popular on DSMs, because it does flow a little more air than you would think for the size of the inducer, and it is has the best efficiency at high boost out of all the wheels in that TO4E family.
