You could just run a stock motor, even a stock 7-bolt is capable of 400-500hp. The actual motor in my car is one of the cheaper parts, everything else you need to repair and support a 700hp car is what kills you.

You could just get 1000cc fuel injectors, they are big enough to get you into the 9s. You will need more than a Walbro 255HP to even max those.
